Achieving Equity and Efficiency Simultaneously in the Primary Distribution Stage in the People’s Republic of China

چکیده
This paper establishes a theoretical framework addressing the long-debated issue of efficiency and equity. Empirical evidence shows that a comparativeadvantage-following development strategy promotes growth and narrows the income gap, achieving both efficiency in production and equity in income distribution. A review of the past three decades of reform reveals that development in line with the comparative advantage of the People’s Republic of China accounts for its outstanding economic performance. The dominant causes of the country’s current problems are the remaining distortions in prices and government interventions in resource allocation. Therefore, to put the government’s “scientific development outlook” into practice and to realize development with quality and speed, the country should deepen marketoriented transformation by eliminating these distortions and interventions. The inclusiveness of development can be further strengthened with financially sustainable social security and transfer payment policies.

متن کاملEffects of Valproic Acid on Axonal Regeneration and Recovery of Motor Function after Peripheral Nerve Injury in the Rat
Background: Valproic acid (VPA) is used to be an effective anti-epileptic drug and mood stabilizer. It has recently been demonstrated that VPA could promote neurite outgrowth, activate the extracellular signal regulated kinase pathway, and increases bcl-2 and growth cone-associated protein 43 levels in spinal cord. In the present research we demonstrate the effect of VPA on peripheral nerve r...
متن کاملRegulation of autophagy by AMP-activated protein kinase/ sirtuin 1 pathway reduces spinal cord neurons damage
Objective(s): AMP-activated protein kinase/sirtuin 1 (AMPK/SIRT1) signaling pathway has been proved to be involved in the regulation of autophagy in various models. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of AMPK/SIRT1 pathway on autophagy after spinal cord injury (SCI). Materials and Methods:The SCI model was established in rats in vivo and the primary spinal cord neurons were subject...
متن کاملTempol relieves lung injury in a rat model of chronic intermittent hypoxia via suppression of inflammation and oxidative stress
Objective(s): Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is confirmed to cause lesions in multiple organs, especially in the lung tissue. Tempol is an antioxidant that has been reported to restrain inflammation and oxidative stress, with its role in OSA-induced lung injury being unclear. This study aimed to investigate the beneficial effect of tempol on chronic intermittent hypoxia (IH)-induced lung injury....
متن کاملDevelopment and use a Novel Combined In-vivo and In-vitro Assay for Anti-inflammatory and Immunosuppressive Agents
Contact hypersensitivity (CHS) mouse model induced by 2, 4-dinitrofluorobenzene (DNFB) is thought to be a T helper 1 (Th1)-dominant response and used for investigating anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive agents. However, it is hardly used for screening large-scale drugs because of the large number of animals and complex mechanisms involved in-vivo. In this study, we focused on whether T lym...
